Account Deletion and Data Removal

Users of PlayCities have the right to request the deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time, in accordance with Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), also known as the “right to be forgotten”.

How to Request Account Deletion

The most common ways to exercise this right are as follows:

Via the mobile app: Go to your profile's “Settings” or “Configuration” section and select the option “Delete Account” or “Unsubscribe”. This process is automatic and removes all personal data stored on our servers, including:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Profile picture (if applicable)
  • Usage preferences
  • Quest or route history
  • Created and followed collections

By email request: Send a message to contact@giantinteractivemaps.com from the email address associated with your account, clearly stating your request to delete the account and all linked data.

In both cases, we will respond within a maximum of 30 days from the date of the request and confirm the effective deletion of your data in writing.

Limited Retention After Deletion

Once the account deletion is requested and processed, we will retain only the data strictly necessary to fulfill our legal obligations, particularly in tax, accounting, or complaint resolution matters, for the legally required period. After this period, the data will be permanently and securely deleted.
